Participation in this level lays the foundation for the love of the game and growth in more dynamic skill development. With our friendly instructors, players focus on staying in motion and on developing a love for the game, through interactive games and free play. Our primary goal is for participants to build trust with our coaches and to feel comfortable with the trial and error that comes with learning a new sport! At the Learn to Play - Level 1, players' skill focus includes learning their hockey stance glide, forward stride basics, and inside edges.
