Playcrafters presents “Girls Weekend”

The curtain is rising on Thursday, May 8th! The Quad City Plus 60 Club is pleased to announce a collaborative event with Playcrafters Barn Theatre, located at 4950 35th Avenue, Moline. We invite Plus 60 members to join us for this exclusive, free to the first 225 club members to register, performance on Thursday, May 8th at 7:30 p.m. Seating is open and unassigned as the Club has reserved the entire theatre.

“Girls Weekend” is a comedy directed by Karen Schaeffer and is a lightning-quick farce. Four women travel to Dot’s Northwoods cabin to consume copious amounts of wine, laugh at their lives, trade stories and chat about their book club’s latest selection. However, after the third case of wine comes through the door, it becomes clear there will be more stewing than reviewing.

NEW Registration Method: GetMeRegistered will be used for this event. See the URL below if using a computer or the UBC scan icon if using your phone. You will be prompted through the steps [see step-by-step instructions also published on this page]. You will receive a confirming email of your successful registration. Each person must be registered individually. Registrations are accepted until the venue’s capacity is reached when the system alerts you that you will be put on the waiting list.

Club members without internet access can register by texting Dave at 847-334-6720. Provide name, address, phone, and membership number of each person you are registering for the performance. If you choose to register by calling, be sure to speak clearly, as well as spell out, spoken names left as a voice message.

The Playcrafters Barn Theatre lobby entrance doors open at 6:30pm for check-in prior to the 7:30pm performance. Complimentary light refreshments will be available in the theatre’s lobby during the performance’s intermission.
