Holiday Happening

The Symphony of Oak Park & RIVER FOREST performs music by Ravel, Bizet and Tchaikovsky on Sunday, December 14, at 4 pm at Concordia University in RIVER FOREST.Dr. Maurice Boyer will lead the award-winning orchestra in Ravel’s Valses Nobles et Sentimentales, Bizet’s L’Arliesienne Suites, and Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Suite. The program ends with a HOLIDAY SING-along. A HOLIDAY BAZAAR BEGINS AT 2:30 with Nutcracker-related gift baskets and other items on offer. David Leehey will lead a pre-concert conversation at 3 pm, and a free reception follows the concert. Students through college can attend free of charge, and children will receive a sweet treat as well. Adult tickets are $30 through December 13; $35 on concert day.
