Additional Information
The stories of twenty WW II recipients of the Congressional Medal of Honor will be told accompanied with original photographs. The Medal of Honor recipients wrote to Shirland School Superintendent Dr. John David Ulferts during the 1990s. Their stories are included in John's book, Always Remember - WW II Through Veterans' Eyes. The Command Post Restaurant and Camp Grant Museum is an original building from Camp Grant and houses the only museum dedicated to this important WW I and II training camp.
