Home Inspection Information Session

Learn what it takes to become a home inspector today!_Home inspectors work closely with real estate professionals and prospective home owners to help inform and educate prospective buyers on what they need to know as they make a major decision about purchasing a home. The knowledge obtained in this program fulfills the State of Illinois home inspector education requirements and prepares students to take the State Licensing Examination. Those in property management and other trades may also find this information valuable. This pre-licensing course is approved by the State of Illinois. All Illinois home inspectors must be licensed to comply with State law. All areas of home inspection will be covered in this 60 hour course including; exteriors, electric, heating and code compliance. As part of the course, students will be required to participate in field events. These hands-on trips may be scheduled outside of class time based on the availability of students, the instructor and sites.
