Boats, Bats and Barns: The Riverview Nightlife Experience!

First paddle the DuPage River upstream and float back into twilight catching the first sounds and sights of the wild nightlife. Then we will venture on land to the Riverview barn to discover more about bat diversity and reveal who is overhead using bat-vocalization detecting equipment. End the night by a cozy fire and roast hot dogs and smores for a late-night treat. Fee: $20 per person. Age: Ages 16 and older. Participants younger than 18 must be accompanied by a registered adult. All equipment is provided, including personal flotation devices. Previous kayaking experience is required as this is a recreational program and not an instructional paddling program. The event takes place outdoors on uneven natural terrain.
