Cooking & Queens: Sausagefest Come make some awesomeness and be entertained by some of Chicago’s best Drag queens! Not a cooking class…. a cooking party!!! Make sausages from scratch and then make bread or turn them into bagel dogs!! Make traditional Italian sausages as well as a Chicken Apple sausage and we will make some potato salad and napa coleslaw on the side. We will be entertained by some of Chicago’s best Drag Queens while we cook and sit down to a show while dessert cooks! Bio: Meet Alex Kay! Former muscle-queen, turned femme-goddess, Alex Kay is Chicago’s pastel princess. Don’t let the Barbie exterior fool you though; she’s a goofball and geek at heart. When she’s not serving fashion, she’s cosplaying as her favorite superheroes and video game characters. On top of that, this year has brought her careers as a sign language interpreter and drag queen together to provide access for a variety of LGBTQ events in Chicago and all over the nation.
