“The beauty of walking is that everybody does it” Prof Adrian
Taylor Break out the office for a proper lunch break* and head outside
to join fellow enthusiasts to walk, talk and network along the banks
of the Kennet and AVON Valley Canal. It's the perfect opportunity to
reflect on your career, bounce ideas about with others, generate new
strategies, develop new opportunities and draw inspiration from nature
one step at a time with the added bonus of gentle exercise; then head
back to the office fully refreshed for a productive afternoon. This
NETWALKING EVENT WILL TAKE PLACE ON TUESDAY 22ND AUGUST 2017 IN
BRADFORD ON AVON FROM 11AM TO 1PM. There will be a dedicated theme
with a series of questions to encourage conversation between
netwalkers and explore different aspects of your business ventures.
Netwalkers will meet in front of the Tithe Barn at 11am to walk, talk
and network along the scenic banks of the AVON Valley Canal. The 4km
flat route will take approximately an hour and there is the
opportunity to purchase your refreshments after the walk at a local
cafe to reflect on your experience and continue conversations. Please
be aware that there will be photos taken during the event that might
be used for future advertising purposes and we will let you know once
a month when our next events are via email (we promise absolutely no
spam!). If you don't want to be photographed or won't like to know
about future netwalks please let us know. We look forward to
walking, talking and networking with you in the British GREAT
OUTDOORS. Note*: The average British lunch break is now only 25 mins
24 secs a day - "Let's Do Lunch" Radio 4 Food Programme (Feb 17). FAQs
What do others say about previous netwalks? “It was GREAT TO WALK
WITH SUCH AN AMAZING GROUP OF DYNAMIC LOCAL ENTREPRENEURS AND
WONDERFUL TO BE BY THE CANAL ON THIS SUNNY DAY, instead of shut in a
room. The most energising and relaxing way to network I've ever
experienced! ” Samiha Abdeldjebar, U-Bur Productions “A much more
relaxed and friendly way of Networking and the icing on the cake being
out in the fresh air (even if it was a bit damp!)”. Rachel Brastock,
Understanding Talent. “It was a very pleasant way to spend an hour
or so. I’d have been happy to walk further and for longer. I like
the fact that we were outside and moving, much better than a stuffy
room and warm wine”. Jane Ginnever, SHIFT. How many tickets are
available for each netwalk? There is limited space with only sixteen
tickets available. These restricted numbers creates the ideal group
size and ensures safety is paramount. When will the next netwalk take
place? Netwalks in the local area (Bath, Bradford on AVON and Devizes)
take place approximately once a month in a different location and
tickets are only available through eventbrite. The next event is
scheduled for Wednesday 13th September 2017 (location TBC). What are
my transport/parking options getting to the event? There is public
parking at the Tithe Barn, along Pound Lane or B3109 in Bradford on
AVON. Bradford on AVON train station is 500m (6 minutes walk) from the
NETWALKING START POINT. What can/can't I bring to the event? Little
reminder that an element of common sense should always be applied
before heading outside with consideration to the British weather. It's
strongly recommended to check the weather the evening before and bring
welly boots, umbrella, warm jacket, scarf, hat and water bottle.
Remember to bring along your business cards to exchange contact
details with other netwalkers. NETWALKING IS FOCUSED ON BUSINESS
DISCUSSIONS SO IS UNFORTUNATELY UNSUITABLE FOR BABIES, little people
or dogs. What is the cancellation policy? NETWALKING TICKETS ARE
NON-refundable though it is possible to change the name and substitute
a replacement netwalker. Please let us know if you are no longer able
to attend and the name of your replacement in advance. What is
included in my ticket price? The NETWALKING TICKET PRICE INCLUDES
EVENT ORGANISATION, administration (5.99 GBP) and eventbrite booking
fees (0.96 GBP). We are constantly hunting out new routes, formats and
special "extras" to ensure each netwalk is a completely unqiue and
enjoyable experience. Each netwalk is individually organised to avoid
any joining or annual membership fees. Who are the organisers?

THE SOUTH WEST. Their partnership is based on a mutual love of the
