Come celebrate keeping babies healthy in our community throughout the years!

Hello Consortium Member:

It’s a celebration! This year, Indianapolis Healthy Babies Consortium turned 25 years old, Indianapolis Healthy Start 20 years old and the Fetal Infant Mortality Review Program 15 years old. Please join us in celebrating these milestone anniversaries on Friday, June 28, 2019 from 8am-11:30am at The Willows on Westfield (North Ballroom), located at 6729 East Westfield Boulevard, Indianapolis, IN-46220. Please note the change in the meeting location.

Meeting Presenters:

Haywood L. Brown, MD, Vice President for Institutional Equity at the University of South Florida and the Associate Dean in the Morsani College of Medicine at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida. In 2017-2018, Dr. Brown served as the 68th President of the American College of Obstetricians.

Virginia A. Caine, MD, Director of the Marion County Public Health Department. She is the Past President for the American Public Health Association, the nation’s oldest and largest public health organization.

Thomas A. Ferrara, MD, FACOG, Medical Director of Women’s Health, Community Health Network, Inc. and volunteer at the Gennesaret Free Clinic.

Rosemary Fournier, Director of the Fetal and Infant Mortality Review (FIMR) program with the National Center for Fatality Review and Prevention.

Arthur R. James, MD is an Obstetrician, Gynecologist and Pediatrician who has been involved in the care of underserved populations for the entirety of his medical career. He is currently a Consultant to the First Year Cleveland (Cuyahoga County-wide effort to decrease infant mortality and eliminate the racial disparity in birth outcomes).
