Description FORAGING 101: SUMMER
Foraging is a way to connect to feel more connected to our
environment, as well as where we get our food. The forests of Indiana
provide plenty of nutritious and tasty options! Join a naturalist at
the Holliday Park Nature Center to learn about edible plants, where to
find them, and any look alike plants. We will also learn how to forage
safely, ethically, and sustainably. All participants will receive a
booklet with recipes using edible plants that are commonly found in
Indiana! Begin to forage with confidence!
This workshop is part of a series of workshops on foraging that will
focus on a different season for each session. These workshops will run
from Summer 2025 to Summer 2026. Feel free to come to one or all of
the sessions!
Free, registration is required. This workshop is designed for ages
