Description NEW LOCATION THIS SUMMER - CROW CREEK PARK Due to the
construction of a new playground at Hopewell Elementary School this
summer, we will hold our Summer Playgrounds Program at Crow Creek Park
at the Soccer Complex and the Four Plex! Ages 5-12 Monday-Friday
12:30pm-4:00pm Playground Program Fee $50 (Non-Residents $125)
Beginning 5/19, Program Fee is $60 (Non-Resident $135) This fee covers
the entire duration of Summer Playgrounds! Come when you can - you do
not have to attend every day. Field trips are extra and must be paid
for when you register online. Camp Registration Deadline is June 28th
for all sites. If this park site is full, and you would like to be
added to the waitlist, please call 563-344-4113. Look no further for
summer fun! Our neighborhood Playgrounds program is the perfect
solution for afternoon fun all summer long! Six locations are staffed
to provide your child with a variety of supervised activities
including athletics, games, special visitors, arts and crafts, field
trips, and MUCH more! This program is for children ages 5-12 (must
have completed kindergarten). Any child that has not completed
Kindergarten will be removed with no refund. If your child does not
have the behavioral or developmental skills, regardless of their age,
to participate in this program, they may be removed from the program.
Child must attend the park that is closest to your home. Parents must
register their own children. WEATHER CANCELLATIONS: Weather Hotline:
(563) 344-4467 Summer Playground will be cancelled if there is
inclement weather. NOTIFICATION OF CANCELLATION WILL BE MADE THROUGH
THE WEATHER HOTLINE. PARENTS AND GUARDIANS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR CALLING
THE WEATHER HOTLINE TO BE NOTIFIED OF WEATHER CANCELLATIONS. The
hotline will be updated by 11:30am. PLEASE keep an eye on the weather
as it may be sunny all morning but inclement weather is expected in
the afternoon, forcing us to cancel. FIELD TRIP REGISTRATION: ALL
FIELD TRIPS MUST BE CHOSEN AND PAID FOR AT THE TIME OF REGISTRATION.
No other action will be required by parent throughout the summer. If
you do not sign up for a field trip during registration, your child
will not be allowed to attend that field trip later. In addition,
field trip fees will not be refunded or credited for any reason if
your child is unable to attend. Please review your registration
carefully before completion. THERE IS NO PROGRAMMING AT THE PARK SITES
ON FIELD TRIP DAYS. IF YOUR CHILD IS NOT REGISTERED FOR THAT WEEK’S
FIELD TRIP, THEY WILL NEED TO STAY HOME THAT DAY. PLAYGROUND SITES
