Archery: 04/22 'Try Archery' for Families - Bettendorf, IA 2026

Description

Bettendorf Parks and Recreation is partnering with Davenport Valley Archers to provide an indoor event for families to try out archery together! We will cover range safety and set up, parts of the bow and arrow, and the steps of shooting prior to shooting.

Try Archery is a program geared towards those interested in giving archery a try. No experience necessary. Certified instructors on hand to get you started and all equipment needed for this 2-hour clinic will be provided!

This class will be geared towards families shooting together. Families can include one adult and one child, or one adult and multiple children or two adults and multiple children. Children must be at least 8 years old.

Registration is limited to 16 individuals.

The Davenport Valley Archers are a family-oriented organization and are offering families a chance to learn archery together.
