Obie Award- winning playwright Adam Bock's The Receptionist is coming
to New York - and this is no ordinary shift! Following its original
five-star premiere at Manhattan Theatre Club, the play has seen many
recent regional productions and is known for Bock's signature spare,
ironic style that interrogates ordinary settings. Often compared to
Shirley Jackson and Kafka, it offers a satirical look at bureaucracy
