Alabama Jubilee Hot Air Balloon Classic

One of the Southeast’s most beloved hot air balloon festivals, the Alabama Jubilee Hot Air Balloon Classic is held annually over Memorial Day weekend in Decatur, Alabama. The event brings together more than 60 hot air balloons from across the country for breathtaking early morning and evening flights. There are also a wide variety of family-friendly activities: arts & crafts, food and merchandise vendors, antique and classic car and tractor shows, live stage entertainment, children’s zones, and often fireworks. Attendees can get up close to balloon pilots and crews. It’s free admission, making it a great way for families and tourists to enjoy the spectacle without a cost barrier.
