One of the world's most sought-after vessels for groundbreaking compositions, Kronos Quartet are known for performing pioneering music from both within the contemporary classical sphere and beyond. Since their foundation in 1973 they have performed over a thousand commissions, from composers and artists as diverse and wide-ranging as as Steve Reich, Bjork, Philip Glass, Frank Zappa, Nine Inch Nails, Arvo Part, Paul McCartney and many, many more.
