FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
AMERIFLOYD TO HEADLINE HISTORIC BENEFIT CONCERT IN WICHITA
“Let's Set a Record, Wichita!”
Kansas Musicians Unite to Support the American Cancer Society
WICHITA, KS — Saturday, July 11, 2026 — Kansas-based Pink Floyd tribute sensation AmeriFloyd
will take the stage at The Cotillion for a powerful night of music, remembrance, hope, and
community support benefiting the American Cancer Society.
Billed as “America's Premier Pink Floyd Tribute Show,” the event aims to establish a new
benchmark for benefit concert attendance in Wichita while honoring cancer survivors, fighters,
caregivers, and families throughout Kansas affected by cancer.
Every performer in the band is from Kansas and has been directly impacted by cancer through
family members, close friends, or loved ones. Several have family members currently in remission
while others have suffered heartbreaking losses. The concert is dedicated to survivors, fighters,
caregivers, and those remembered.
“This is much more than a concert,” said Paul Steger, founder and producer of AmeriFloyd. “Every
member of this production has experienced cancer's impact firsthand. We wanted to bring Kansas
together for one unforgettable night of hope, healing, remembrance, and music.”
Organizers are officially declaring a goal of 1,200 attendees, establishing a new Wichita benchmark
for benefit concert attendance while supporting a cause that touches nearly every family.
50% of all net proceeds from the event will benefit the American Cancer Society.
The production will feature a massive immersive laser and light spectacular alongside live
performances celebrating the legendary music of Pink Floyd.
A unique hallmark of the AmeriFloyd experience is the band's commitment to performing both The
Dark Side of the Moon and The Wall in their entirety, uninterrupted from beginning to end.
