Mary Hallan FioRito is an attorney and writer and currently serves as
the Cardinal Francis George Fellow at both the Ethics and Public
Policy Center in Washington, D.C. and the deNicola Center for Ethics
and Culture at the University of Notre Dame. Her areas of expertise
include abortion law and policy, women and the Catholic Church,
perinatal hospice, and the work of English mystic Caryll Houselander.
A dynamic and humorous speaker, Mary's talks enliven the faith of her
audiences and help them to grow in their knowledge and love for the
Catholic Church.
Mary is an honors graduate of Loyola University of Chicago, where she
majored in English literature. She holds a Juris Doctor degree from
Loyola University School of Law. She is the contributor to two books,
and her commentaries have been published in The Wall Street Journal,
the Chicago Tribune, the Federalist, America Magazine, Our Sunday
Visitor, Crux, and many other Catholic publications. She is a regular
guest on Relevant Radio and hosts her own radio show, Winds of Change,
on Chicago's WNDZ each Monday afternoon.
Mary has three daughters and lives in the Chicago area with her
exceptionally patient husband.
