Join us for the FRANKLIN PARISH CATFISH CLASSIC ON SATURDAY, April 26,
2025, in the charming town of BASKIN, LOUISIANA! This beloved local
tradition is the area's oldest race, and this year promises to be a
fantastic event for participants and spectators alike. The race will
start and finish at the Baskin Town Hall, featuring a flat and
predominantly paved route perfect for runners of all ages and
abilities.Participants can look forward to a variety of age group
categories, from youth (14 and under) to seasoned racers (71 and
older), ensuring everyone has a chance to compete. The entry fee of
$25 not only includes a stylish race T-shirt if registered by April
20, but also supports a worthy cause—proceeds will benefit Tracey
Ready in her courageous battle against breast cancer. Plus, enjoy a
delicious treat of free fried catfish post-race! Come out, wear purple
in support of Tracey, and be part of this uplifting community event.
