More than recycling: Get the tools you need to move your COMMUNITY TOWARD ZERO WASTE! Have you noticed all that garbage from our groceries and businesses going into the landfill? Have you been hearing a lot about 'plastic pollution' and want to know how to prevent it? Are you worried the future of recycling in your town? Does your city even _have _recycling? Are you just hearing about all these things for the first time, and now you want to know more? Then join us for this FREE workshop session to learn what actions you and your community can take to ease those worries. No Waste Louisiana and the Zero Waste International Alliance invite you to come get an introduction to zero waste and go home with some tools, tips, and tricks to move your home and your community to reduce waste, prevent pollution, and better protect your health and budget. Families with children are welcome to attend, and childcare will be available for any children who don't want to attend any part of the WORKSHOP. Refreshments, including a light dinner meal, will also be provided. Please feel free to BRING YOUR OWN REUSABLE CUP AND FORK if you're able, to reduce waste at the session.
