2nd Annual Darrin Vince Memorial WOD!

I want to invite all our communities near and far to come join us in our 2nd Annual Darrin Vince Memorial Workout Saturday April 4, 2020 starting at 9am. We will run several heats of the same workout until everyone is done. This was a vision Darrin had and we want to keep that vision going. All fitness levels can attend this event. There will be an RX, Scaled, and Beginner Divison for the workout. The top 3 finishers of each division will receive awards. It will be a fun day while supporting out men in blue. Registration is $25 and includes a T-Shirt. There is an option to just by t-shirt, or just donate. All procedes go to Back the Blue of Baton Rouge. Please encourage all friends and family to come join in or just cheer on our attendees.The back story to Darrin's vision: The year of 2016 was a tragic year for Baton Rouge and the surrounding areas. In July of 2016 BRPD and BRSO lost 3 Officers Deputy Brad Garafola, Ofc. Matthew Gerald, and Corp. Montrell Jackson by one lone shooter.  Ofc. Nick Tullier was also shot and is still hospitalized.  Darrin was a huge supporter of our LEO's.  In regard to this tragedy he wanted to give back to these families that were going through these hard times. It was at that time he put together the "Blue Movement" Event to raise money for these families. This was to be a CrossFit style competition at his store in Central, La. Pat's Home Center.
