freshness of the Lebanese mountains through richness, elegance and
complexity. FEATURED WINES: Altitudes Ixsir Blanc, 2017
This blend of a Lebanese indigenous grape and two noble southern
varieties presents an elegant swirl of golden glittering robes.
Breathing an exquisite bouquet of floral aromas with hints of Muscat
and notes of grapefruit, this floral and fruity blend translates into
a balanced and sharp palate hinted with spicy undertones. A soft touch
of acidity gives the wine a pleasant freshness.
Altitudes Ixsir Rose, 2017
This is what we can call a wine rosé ‘à la Provence’. Its marble
pink robe with peony reflections reveal an intense bouquet of
gooseberry and vine leaves. Its suave, fruity, crispy and delicate
palate will be a ‘coup de folie’ for anyone passionate about
authentic rosé wines.
Altitudes Ixsir Rouge, 2013
Warmth, sharpness, maturity and character are the dominant traits of
this wine. Imprinted with mature fruits, its delicate and complex
bouquet balances an oaked aroma with red and black fruits. Notes of
blackberry and blackcurrant blended with a fine ‘empyreumatic’
touch give the wine a soft and complex character. Its final silky
taste makes it a pleasant and accessible wine, to share in a relaxed
environment.
Ixsir El Rouge, 2012
A complexity of aromas with red fruits, blackberry liqueur, touches of
incense, and notes of mint and cedar sap. The palate is enriched by a
suave and intense nose of rich mineral tension that is characteristic
of limestone terroirs. A fresh finish and an extended length reveals a
mature aging aptitude.
