TECHNIQUES AS YOU SHAPE YOUR OWN 15-inch WHISK BROOM WITH A CLASSIC
TURKEY WING DESIGN, approximately 9 inches wide and 1.5 inches thick.
No experience necessary, all materials included. Bring a little
handmade magic into your SPRING! Step into the art of TRADITIONAL
BROOM MAKING WITH ARTISAN H. Laura Kneib. In this hands-on WORKSHOP,
you will learn the basics of the craft, hear a bit about its history,
and create your own handmade BROOM USING NATURAL MATERIALS AND TIME
HONORED TECHNIQUES. All tools and materials are provided. Please bring
a towel to protect your lap while working with soaked BROOMCORN, and
feel free to bring dried flowers or small decorations to make your
BROOM YOUR OWN. BROOM MAKING DOES REQUIRE GOOD UPPER BODY AND HAND
STRENGTH. Laura brings decades of experience in TRADITIONAL
HOMESTEADING AND HERITAGE CRAFTS AND IS DEEPLY COMMITTED TO PRESERVING
THESE SKILLS AND SHARING THEM WITH OTHERS. At the end of the
