Bottle "Mini" Basket Weaving Spring 2026 - Dover-Foxcroft, ME 2026

Instructor: Jessica Steele M.Ed. Create a small pack basket designed to carry a water bottle or wine bottle. Finished baskets range from about 5 to 8 inches tall, depending on your preference, and each student will receive a strap to wear the basket across the shoulder. We will cover pack basket history, materials, tools, and how to care for your basket after class. Baskets are made with premium reed, with rim options including flat oval reed, birch bark, or red osier dogwood, along with a selection of colored reeds. The instructor will guide you through each step so everyone leaves with a finished basket, plus supplies to make a second one at home. This is a beginner-friendly class; no prior experience required. All materials are included. To hold your spot, registration and payment are required. Space is limited, so sign up early! We want everyone to have a great experience! To help the instructor prepare and ensure your spot, please cancel at least 7 days in advance for a full refund. Last-minute cancellations are handled on a case-by-case basis. If you need to cancel within 7 days, Jessica is happy to: Schedule you for a future class, or Provide a take-home kit with instructions so you can still enjoy the project.
