Forest Quiver Basket Weaving Spring 2026 - Dover-Foxcroft, ME 2026

Instructor: Jessica Steele M.Ed. In this hands-on course, you’ll weave your own traditional pack basket using premium reed and time-honored techniques. We’ll begin with a bit of history—exploring how pack baskets have been used and the materials that have shaped them over time—before diving into step-by-step instruction to guide you through the entire process. Each student will leave with a fully finished basket complete with a solid base, feet, and functional pack straps. You’ll have the option to add color using dyed reed and a selection of strap colors to personalize your basket. Size: approximately 17" tall. All materials are included. To hold your spot, registration and payment are required. Space is limited, so sign up early! We want everyone to have a great experience! To help the instructor prepare and ensure your spot, please cancel at least 7 days in advance for a full refund. Last-minute cancellations are handled on a case-by-case basis. If you need to cancel within 7 days, Jessica is happy to: Schedule you for a future class, or Provide a take-home kit with instructions so you can still enjoy the project.
