Dreaming of keeping bees for the very first time? Already a beekeeper but to get your bees through the winter? This 5-day course will equip you with the knowledge and skills you need to succeed. We will cover honeybee biology, fundamentals of beekeeping0 including vertical hives and horizontal Langstroth gives, how to install a nuc, essential equipment, pest and disease management, and swarm control. Registration includes a mentor, book, and a one-year membership to SBA. $55 collected from each participant the first night of class.
