Foundations of Drawing - Scarborough, ME 2026

Learn the basic principles of value and composition based on various photos. Graphite, charcoal, and ink will be used in this class, but adding color will be encouraged. You will have the opportunity to explore cross-hatching, shading & blending, blind contour DRAWING, gesture DRAWING, and more. Each class will begin with a short meditation to minimize inhibitions associated with the creative process. ----> A supply list will be included in the online registration and emailed to all registered students prior to the class date.
