Looking to diversify your yoga practice or to add variety to a
strength training routine? Yoga and Weights blends all of your
favorite and familiar yoga poses with light weights, straps,
repetition, and a lively playlist. Classes will include seated,
standing, and reclining poses and end in relaxation. Modifications
will be offered for all fitness levels. Participants may bring their
own yoga mat or borrow one from the studio. Light weights will be
provided or students may bring their own (2, 3, 4 or 5 lb pairs of
hand weights). Ren Hawkes has been studying yoga and movement for over
20 years. A 200-hour yoga teacher, Ren is certified as a Let Your Yoga
Dance instructor, children’s yoga teacher, and a Yin yoga
instructor. She brings her love of nature and the world around her to
everything that she teaches. Ren is the primary owner and manager of
Village Yoga Gorham. Session II: 4 classes, Fridays, 2/27-3/20,
