Comic actor TTTom Clark is bringing his Maine character “C.L.
THOMAS” back to KITTERY, hosting a comedy showcase with three very
funny stand-up comedians at THE STAR THEATRE.“C.L. Thomas &
Friends,” presented by Scamps Comedy Productions, features
Portsmouth, NH, favorite Steve Scarfo, Dan Donahue, and Jolanda Logan.
Showtime is 8 p.m., and tickets are $20 online in advance, and $25 on
the night of the show.
Scarfo is a comedy veteran who works clubs around the region,
including his own show every New Year’s Eve in Portsmouth. Donahue
is a frequent opener for Juston McKinney in theaters in Massachusetts,
New Hampshire and Maine. Logan is a promising newcomer who hails from
New Hampshire.
Clark’s one-man show featuring the C.L. Thomas character runs
summers in Kennebunkport, and is the longest-running one-man weekly
downeast humor show in the state of Maine. The York Harbor Inn boasts,
“C.L. Thomas is redefining Maine humor.”
“C.L. is an old Mainer, the kind you might have seen sitting around
the wood stove in the back of the general store in a Norman Rockwell
painting,” Clark says. “He’s not so much a story-teller as he is
a rambling old uncle with a comic viewpoint.”
After C.L. opened for Juston McKinney, Juston said “C.L. Thomas is
where very Maine meets very funny!”
