MINORITY AND WOMEN BUSINESS OWNERS! Free and open to the public! In
celebration of Black History Month, the Anne Arundel Chapter of the
NAACP in partnership with Work Life Behavioral Health Presents
“Minority Money Matters”, a financial literacy event aimed at
helping to educate and empower underserved communities throughout Anne
Arundel County and surrounding areas. Minority Money Matters, a
collaborative project, was created with the goal of bridging the
financial literacy gap and strengthening the understanding of the
impact of financial stability on improved health, physical and
emotional well-being. The event will host a series of workshops,
delivered by seasoned professionals who are excited to share their
knowledge, stories of triumph and adversity, and offer advice in
various areas, including Financial Planning & Credit Repair,
Scholarships & Secondary Education, Life Insurance, Entrepreneurship,
and Home Ownership.
