2020 Mercy Medical Center's Infant Care Class

Setting realistic expectations for your baby's first months is important. During this one time CLASS, you'll discover the answers to the most common questions new parents have about baby care. This CLASS PROVIDES HANDS-on practice of bathing and diapering as well as practical information on: * Infant behaviors * Feeding * Sleep schedules * Choking * Calming techniques * Bathing & Diapering THIS IS NOT AN INFANT CPR CLASS. COST: $40.00  (plus registration fee of $4.28) ) per couple LENGTH OF CLASS: 2 1/2 hours DETAILS: You will receive an email the week before class letting you know where to park and classroom location.  Snacks will be provided. _*Most insurance companies will provide reimbursement for the classes and some provide prepayment. Please call the customer service number on the back of your insurance card prior to registering for more information._ _*Employees of Mercy will receive a 20% discount for classes.  Please do not use Eventbright to register for classes as you will be charged the full amount.  Please contact the Childbirth Education office to register._ *_When registering, please keep in mind that this class is meant to be taken during the third trimester of pregnancy._ _*CLASSES HAVE A MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENT.
