Pavlansky was head boys’ track and cross country coach at Boardman
High School from 1999 –2010. Twice named OAT&CCC District 1 Boys’
Track Coach of the Year, Dave received the 2007 Fred Daffler State
Coach of the Year Award for Boys’ Cross Country. In 2007 he was
among 10 sprint coaches selected nationwide by the USATF to attend the
Emerging Elite Coaches’ School in Orlando, Florida. During Dave’s
12-year tenure Boardman teams won 6 League and 7 District
Championships, produced individual Indoor and Outdoor state champions,
and developed two Nike All-Americans. Dave has USATF LEVEL 2
CERTIFICATIONS IN JUMPS, Endurance, and Sprints / Hurdles / Relays and
he currently serves as USATF Regional Coordinator of Coaching
Education for the Midwest. Larry Judge, Ph.D., C.S.C.S. is an
Assistant Professor of Physical Education and coordinator of the
graduate coaching program at Ball State University. He has 18 years of
Division I coaching experience with Indiana State University, the
University of South Carolina, the University of Wyoming and the
University of Florida. He is currently the USA Track & Field National
Chairman for Coaching Education in the throwing events. He is also a
LEVEL III INSTRUCTOR FOR THE INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF ATHLETICS
FEDERATION’s (IAAF) Coaching Education Program and has coached more
than 100 NCAA Division I All-Americans, including nine Olympians.
Rogers Glispy is Athletic Director at Community College of
Philadelphia after serving successfully there as track & field and
cross country coach. As coach his teams won eight state championships
and nine state conference championships and earning Glispy
Pennsylvania Collegiate Athletic Association Cross-Country Coach of
the Year on six occasions. He is LEVEL 2 CERTIFIED IN JUMPS AND
ENDURANCE AND RECENTLY ATTENDED THE IAAF LEVEL 5
