Ballet Photography Workshop with Dancer Jane Krantz

Hi everyone!  It is my honor to announce my collaboration with the next model for the Events by Dakota: DMV Chapter's next WORKSHOP:  Jane KRANTZ, an incredibly talented BALLET DANCER OUT OF HARTFORD, Connecticut.  Jane has performed both nationally and internationally as a soloist and freelancing with dance and theatre companies.  She has been seen with The Now Unboxing Project, Dimensional Dance, Playhouse on Park, BALLET THEATRE COMPANY, Comedy Central's "Funny or Die" Tour, as well as dancing and maintaining the role of Company Manager for The Dance Collective.  Most recently, she performed as a soloist at the 74th International Choreographer's Showcase in Edinburgh, Scotland, as part of the world famous Edinburgh Festival Fringe.  To read this and more about her, check out her website at www.janekrantz.com.With this event, there will be a strong emphasis on fantastic lighting, and wardrobe that will float through the air!  Romantic tutu's, pointe shoes, etc....we will have a variety to work with, but for part of it I am definitely wanting to focus on full and flowing fabric that creates fantastic textures in the image.  Lighting will be precise, controlled, and intentional. Triggers and professional studio lighting provided by Skyloft.  This is not a natural light workshop.  Space will be limited to 5 photographers tops. Cost:  $210.  A $70 non-refundable deposit will be required to reserve your space, which you will pay for on this eventbrite link. The remaining $140 will be due at the event. Refunds given only if the event cancels or in the case of inclement weater, within 48 hours of event date. Date and Time:  February 25th, 2018 from 11:30 am-2:30 pm.
