EQUITY, DIVERSITY & INCLUSION
_This course is for City of BALTIMORE Employees only._
Diversity, equity, inclusion. Organizations use these words as they
strive to become more diverse, yet many are uncertain about the steps
needed to turn dialogue – and intention – into action. When
organizations effectively demonstrate a value for diversity and
implement inclusive strategies, productivity, employee morale and
customer service delivery improves. This learning path is designed to
build inclusive skills, address unconscious bias, enhance
cross-cultural communication to make effective change and achieve
equity at all levels whether they manage people, structures, policies,
programs, and/or practices.
Learning Path Courses:
* _Diversity on the Job:_ This course highlights the benefits of
workplace diversity and the barriers that must be overcome in order to
create such an environment. Self-awareness of attitudes toward
diversity, cultures, people and ideas, while learning to advocate for
diversity within the workplace.
* _Global Diversity: _In this course, you'll learn about the
characteristics of inclusive workplaces, discover the challenges and
