The Religious Freedom & Business Foundation (RFBF) and Busch
School host 1st NATIONAL CONVENTION ON "why FAITH-ORIENTED EMPLOYEE
RESOURCE GROUPS (ERGs) are the next diversity necessity" RFBF
and the Tim and Steph Busch School of Business at the Catholic
University of America (CUA) will host the first-ever NATIONAL
CONVENTION OF FAITH-ORIENTED EMPLOYEE RESOURCE GROUPS (ERGs) on
February 13-14, 2020, in WASHINGTON, DC. This multi-day event will
bring together ERG leaders from across corporate America to share
their experiences, best practices and perspectives on the future of
this accelerating trend toward FAITH-based ERGs at some of America's
biggest and most recognizable companies.
Indeed, Corporate America is at a tipping point regarding religion in
the workplace. This amazing movement is accelerating within
corporations, but it is entirely off the radar of the NATIONAL MEDIA.
Companies are sponsoring and promoting FAITH-ORIENTED ERGS. Some, like
Texas Instruments, have been operating these groups for over 20 years.
In others, like Salesforce and America's largest employer, Walmart,
they are only now taking off. FAITH-ORIENTED ERGS INCLUDE INTERFAITH
GROUPS, such as “FAITHFORCE” at Salesforce, and FAITH-specific
groups like the Christian, Muslim and Jewish groups at Texas
Instruments. The mission of these groups, as part of the larger
Diversity & Inclusion movement, is simply to support the missions of
their respective companies by helping their members bring their whole
selves to work.
