This Workshop Series: Attendance at all sessions is preferred. This
workshop series will take place every Saturday from 10am-12:30pm for 6
consecutive weeks. The dates for this workshop series' sessions are

Booster Session – 5/23/20 10am-1:00pm What is TOGETHER? The
TOGETHER Program provides a safe place for couples wanting to work
together to build long-lasting changes in their families. We offer
the TOGETHER Workshop, case management services, and employment
services to all eligible couples. Program participation includes the
6-week workshop and three months of case management and employment
services if needed. This program is for research, meaning that we
collect surveys so that the effectiveness of the program can be
evaluated. Incentives Each workshop session will include a free
meal! As participants of this program, each couple may receive up to
$160 in gift cards. In order to receive these incentives, we will
require you fill out a form for tax purposes. How Can You
Participate? If you and your partner are over the age of 18, and speak
and understand the English language, TOGETHER may be the right program
for you! in order to participate, you should feel safe to discuss
financial problems during activities in our workshop. This program may
not be appropriate for couples with serious, untreated domestic
violence, mental health, or substance abuse. Participation is
voluntary, but both partners in a couple must agree to participate and
sign a consent form before they are enrolled into the program. Please
be aware that both partners are required to attend together, and
couples must be able to attend at least 4 out of the 6 workshops to be
considered for participation. Program Details: Relationship and
Financial Education Workshop Couples learn about:• Communication and
Conflict Management• Stress Management• Problem-Solving• Money
Management Workshop Format:• 6 meetings (about 2 ½ hours each) once
per week, same day and time each week• 6 to 10 couples per group•
Weeknights or weekends• Each session led by experienced couples
expert and financial expert Although this program does not provide
couples therapy or financial counseling, we work closely with
community resources to provide direct referrals to those services when
needed. Couples recieve reminder texts in between sessions about
homework assignments and confirming attendance at the next workshop
session. Connection to Community Resources and Employment Agencies for
Couples in Need of Services All couples are assigned a case manager
for the entire time they are enrolled in the program. Case managers
complete assessment of the family's needs for services (e.g., medical,
housing, educational, mental health, etc.) and connect couples to
community resources for needed services. For couples with
employment/career needs, case managers will refer to partner agencies
that specialize in employment services and will work in collaboration
with those agencies to better assist participants. The employment

Job-related education and training• Career coaching and job search
