ART FESTIVAL AND MAKERS MARKETOur 13th annual outdoor art festival and makers market features original art by 130 fine artists and artisans, a makers market, art demonstrations, and a chalk art competition. Plus, we’ve got food trucks and pop-ups – come by for Auntie Anne’s Pretzels, Dini’s Divine Pies, The Tender Rib, Sherri’s Crabcakes, and more! SHOPPING FOR ART AND MORE Meet new and returning artists and artisans creating one-of-a-kind, high-caliber pieces in a variety of media, spend the day with family and friends, and pick up original art, fashion and pet accessories, home and garden décor, furniture, natural bath and body products, handcrafted candy, sauces, and teas – and more. SUPPORTING OUR COMMUNITY The Rockville Arts Festival is produced by VisArts and proceeds help cover the costs of VisAbility Art Lab, class and camp scholarships, and afterschool arts programs in community centers in the region. VisArts fills a unique niche and is a vital and impactful member of Montgomery County’s art sector, making our area a better place to live and work by building community, nurturing social connections, and strengthening the local economy.
