Rackliffe Run

Join US for an exciting new 5k event featuring the historic RACKLIFFE HOUSE, a beautiful 1740s merchant-planters home overlooking Assateague Island and Sinepuxent Bay. The race will begin at the Assateague State Park day-use beach parking lot, with free parking provided for all participants.The course will wind through the scenic park grounds, offering runners and walkers the chance to immerse themselves in the natural beauty of the area. At the halfway point, participants will have the option to sprint along the stunning sandy shores of the beach to finish the race. After crossing the finish line, everyone is invited to take a complimentary tour of the historic Rackliffe House. This event highlights one of Worcester County's hidden gems and supports its preservation.
