A contemporary play that tells the classic story of the first computer
programmer, Ada Byron Lovelace. Long before cell phones and tablets,
Ada dreamed of a world where numbers become machines. She also dreams
of her father, the notorious Lord Byron, and a man she loved dearly,
inventor of the first mechanical computer, Charles Babbage. This music
laced romance shows that some dreams really do come true. Performed in
rotating repertory with another play about following in your father's
footsteps while finding your own place in the world, William
Shakespeare's Hamlet. Presented by special arrangement with Dramatists
