Description(Entering Grades 7-11 in the 2025-26 school year) Frederick
County Parks and Recreation's CIT development program is focused on
leadership, communication skills, team-building, goal-setting and
having fun. As a CIT, you will assist with the overall supervision of
campers to ensure their safety and enjoyment of camp. You will
contribute ideas and help with the planning of themed activities and
receive mentorship from FCPR staff. CITs may receive SSL hours for
time spent assisting with the supervision of campers and are
responsible for their completion of all required paperwork with their
school. To be considered for a CIT position, all returning and new
candidates must complete a group interview where they will showcase
their talents and skills. CIT space is limited and selective based on
group interview performance and completion of an application. If
selected to participate in the CIT program, you will make a commitment
to work a minimum of 4 weeks of summer camp. Please select a group
interview session to be considered for the program; written
applications will be completed on site during the day of your
interview. ActivityGroup Interview Registration -
