Description Does your little one love pretending to work at a restaurant, a doctor’s office, or a school? If so, this is the perfect drop-off afternoon for them! At our Scott Key Learning Studio , we are excited to offer themed play days every other week, hosted by Frederick County Parks and Recreation. We believe in play with a purpose , as it is a vital part of a child’s development. Through imaginative role-play, children can explore real-life scenarios that encourage vocabulary growth, communication skills, turn-taking, and the use of realistic print in meaningful ways. Each session will feature a new theme and plenty of opportunities for dramatic play, hands-on activities, and creative fun. This is a drop-off class, so participants must be potty-trained and able to use the restroom independently.
