The historic RISING SUN INN, located at 1090 General's Hwy in
CROWNSVILLE, Maryland, reopens for public tours on Sunday October 11,
2020, from 1:00 p.m. 4:00 p.m. with tours beginning on the top and
bottom of the hour. Admission is $8.00 for adults, $5.00 for children
3 - 12, and children under 3 are free. See this unique pre-colonial
farmhouse and 18th century tavern, located in central Anne Arundel
County along the famed Washington Rochambeau Revolutionary Route,
featuring period furnishing and artifacts as well as a one-of-a-kind
cabinet dollhouse replica of the Jonas and Anne Catherine Green House.
Also, enjoy our newly restored 2nd floor with its beautifully
recreated 18th century bedroom; unique dining display highlighting the
Inn's two prominent eras, the late 18th century and the early 20th
century; and more of the Inn's distinctive architectural features.
To ensure social distancing and maintenance of required capacity
levels, purchasing tickets in advance is REQUIRED. Additionally, masks
are required when inside the Inn and when outside and not able to
