Now you are ready to take your new hand-LETTERING SKILLS TO THE NEXT
LEVEL by learning techniques to "connect" letters in a fluid,
well-spaced / kerned and aesthetically-balanced way and tips / tools
for keeping your LETTERING “straight“, experimenting with a
variety of flourishing techniques & refining the details of your
hand-LETTERING. In the 1st hour, we will go right into warm ups &
exercises to connect common letter combinations & everyday/holiday
words & phrases. Interactive demos and, of course, 1-on-1 guidance
will be given throughout the workshop!
Then we will focus our attention on cool effects, stylish ink color &
LETTERING COMBO IDEAS, helpful measuring & shape tools & practical
techniques for making ENVELOPE ART, seating cards, tags,
poems/quotes/LETTERING ART LOOK AMAZING!
Bring in samples or draft ideas of your current / upcoming projects
for specific recommendations on colors/style/format to complement your
choices.
Lastly, we’ll experiment with writing on chalkboards, mirrors,
oyster shells & sand dollars!
