Join husband and wife duo Itamar Srulovich and Sarit Packer, co-owners
of London Middle Eastern restaurants Honey & Co, Honey & Spice, and
Honey & Smoke for a hands-on class focusing on making the most of
fresh, seasonal produce in the warmer months. Itamar and Sarit will
show you why quick pickling fruit is your next go-to kitchen trick as
you make Pickled Peach Salad with Pistachios and Parsley (say that
five times fast!). Then, you’ll learn the technique behind a
perfectly smooth, silky green eggplant dip that is as at home on a
cheese board as it is spooned over fried eggs. For your main course,
you’ll make steak fatoush salad with grapes and tomatoes, which
comes together quickly enough for a weeknight meal but feels elegant.
Finally, for dessert, you’ll enjoy strawberry ricotta cakes—the
perfect end to a warm-weather feast. Sarit and Itamar will walk you
through these recipes, all of which come from their new book Honey &
Co: At Home, and will also talk about how to choose perfect produce
and adapt recipes to the changing seasons.
