Piano Bar Singalong with Mel in Boston

With over 30 years in the business, Mel puts on the best piano bar in town! Grab some liquid courage and request your favorites. Mel has you covered with song books, so no excuses about forgetting the lyrics!  -- Part of what makes the Piano Bar so distinctive is that books with words to more than 500 oldies and rock songs of the ‘50’s, ‘60’s and ‘70’s are handed out to patrons of all ages, who then eat, drink, and, as a community, sing from 8:30-11:30. The proximity of the piano to the patrons, and Mel's interaction with the crowd, adds to the piano bar's uniqueness.Over the past three decades a rich array of story lines have developed from the Friday night sing-alongs. Friendships and romantic relationships have both begun and been nurtured around the piano. Two marriage proposals were publicly made in front of the piano on Friday nights. Mel was asked to perform the wedding ceremony of two people who felt the piano bar had an important influence on the development of their relationship.
