The RESEARCH SOCIETY AT HARVARD SCHOOL OF DENTAL MEDICINE INVITES ALL
NEW ENGLAND DENTAL STUDENTS TO ATTEND THE INAUGURAL HSDM DMD RESEARCH
SYMPOSIUM. This is a one-day SYMPOSIUM FOCUSING ON DENTAL RESEARCH
HELD ON SATURDAY JUNE 6TH, 2020 at the Harvard School of Dental
Medicine (190 Longwood Avenue, BOSTON MA). Dental students can submit
their abstracts for consideration for poster presentations. The top 3
student posters will be awarded cash prizes as determined by a panel
of judges made up of representatives from each New England dental
school. In addition to student poster presentations, we are excited to
host Dr. Janice Lee DDS, MD, FACS from the National Institute of
Dental and Craniofacial RESEARCH AT NIH WHO WILL BE SPEAKING ABOUT
"Advancing dental, oral, and craniofacial health through RESEARCH AND
OPPORTUNITIES AT THE NIH." Breakout sessions discussing such topics as
dental education, dental technologies, public health, and the role of
clinician RESEARCHERS WILL BE LED BY BOSTON-based (HSDM, Forsyth, MGH)
dental faculty and residents. Breakfast and lunch will be provided for
all attendees.Please check back in February for the finalized speakers
list for the breakout sessions. Spots are limited, so be sure to
register early!
To register and/or submit an abstract (500 words) for the poster
session, please complete the order form on EventBrite. Preliminary
data and proposals are accepted (does not have to be completed
RESEARCH). If the registration fee is limiting, please contact
