Description Intensive Harmony at the Keyboard is a Boulanger-style
harmony workshop, offered as a supplemental course to the Music Theory
& Literacy sequence. It is intended either for students concurrently
enrolled in Music Theory & Literacy II, III or IV who would like extra
weekly practice and instruction at the keyboard, students who
completed all the Music Theory & Literacy courses and would like to
take their knowledge and skills even further, or any other students
who want to focus on keyboard harmony in an intensive way. Each
student works at their own pace in an intimate (3-5 students),
low-key, studio-like environment. The class will be held each semester
and may be taken an unlimited number of times for credit or
non-credit. If you have any questions regarding Keyboard Harmony
please contact the NEC Continuing Education office at (617)585-1701.
