There are two separate (back-to-back) conferences:
The MOB PROGRAMMING Conference is Saturday and Sunday, May 30 & 31,
2020.
The AGILE GAMES Conference is Monday through Wednesday, June 1 - 3,
2020.
You can register for either or both of them. If you register for both
by buying a COMBO registration, you'll save more than 10% of the price
you'd pay if you registered for them individually - look for the COMBO
registrations when you go to register.
There is an optional (separately priced) reception associated with
each conference. The reception for the Mob Programming conference is
in the evening of Saturday, May 30, 2020. The reception for the Agile
Games conference is in the evening of Tuesday, June 2, 2020. You can
purchase tickets for either or both of the receptions at the bottom of
the order checkout page under the heading "Additional Items."
Each conference has a limited number of EARLY BIRD registrations
available.
Both conferences are very well suited for groups/teams to attend
together. We have made very attractive group rates for each conference
and the two conferences combined.
As a non-profit organization coordinating these conferences, our goal
is to ensure that we produce high-quality and high-value conferences
at an affordable price. Please see the "Is it possible to get a
hardship discount?" section of our FAQ if you need financial
assistance to help you attend the conferences.

MOB PROGRAMMING CONFERENCE 2020
[https://mobprogrammingnewengland.com] MAY 30 AND MAY 31
_ALL THE BRILLIANT PEOPLE, WORKING ON THE SAME THING, AT THE SAME
TIME, IN THE SAME SPACE, AND AT THE SAME COMPUTER._
Mob programming, or “mobbing,” is a software development approach
where the whole team works on the same thing, at the same time, in the
same space, and at the same computer. The entire team participates in
designing, coding, testing, and working with customers, users, and
other stakeholders. This is an evolutionary step beyond pair
programming, and accentuates the face-to-face communication, team
alignment, collaboration, and self-organizing team aspects of the
Agile approach to software development.
Mob programming leverages the knowledge of the entire group to make
faster, better decisions. This increases the productivity of the team
and the quality of their output. Mobbing also encourages
cross-training and the sharing of perspectives across functions, which
improve collaboration and job satisfaction.
The Mob PROGRAMMING 2020 CONFERENCE INCLUDES HANDS-on immersive
sessions that provide opportunities for all experience levels to get
familiar with this powerful practice. You’ll be actively
“mobbing” no matter what your starting level of familiarity is.
The Mob PROGRAMMING 2020 CONFERENCE ALSO PROVIDES A TRACK FOR BUSINESS
LEADERS WHO WANT TO LEARN HOW TO HELP THEIR TEAMS LEVEL UP.

AGILE GAMES CONFERENCE 2020 [https://agilegamesconference.com/]
JUNE 1 THROUGH JUNE 3
_ENHANCE YOUR AGILE TEAM'S WORKING SKILLS IN AN INTERACTIVE AND FUN
WAY!_
Agile games are teaching activities focused on demonstrating and
improving Agile and organizational effectiveness using game-based
simulations. Games can model the core of complex or time-consuming
processes and systems to examine why they work (or don’t work), look
for improvements, and teach us how to benefit from them.
Agile games illustrate how collaboration, brainstorming,
retrospectives, and many other Agile practices work. By leveraging
Agile games you and your teams can improve organizational agility and
effectiveness, which is why they are now a fundamental part of many
successful Agile transformations.
The Agile Games Conference is an annual event hosted by Agile New
England. Each year the Agile Games Conference focuses on various
themes such as games for high performing teams, psychological safety,
and Agile in the real world. The conference provides an immersive
exploration of some of the more interesting, playful, and fun concepts
behind Agile Software Development.
This year, Agile Games is a three-day conference in Boston,
Massachusetts.
