We're partnering with local organizations and artists to celebrate the opening of "Writing the Future: Basquiat and the Hip-Hop Generation" with a night full of DJs, pop-up performances, delicious food, and much more. Performances by local hip-hop acts Oompa, STL GLD, Camp Blood, and Edo G headline. Five of the artists featured in the exhibition—Fab 5 Freddy, Futura, Kool Koor, Lady Pink, and Lee Quiñones—join the celebration, and the collective HipStory captures the evening with interviews from guest artists, community members, and attendees.
