We've started a new tradition in Boston and we want you to be a part of it. Its an evening of fun and celebration for all Unbound Visual Arts members, guests and friends at the modern Green Briar Restaurant and Pub. We'll have a live Mardi Gras band, A Confederacy of Dumpsters, complimentary appetizers from 6:30 - 7:30 pm, a full cash bar, an art show of UVA member's work, silent auction for valuable gifts, 50/50 raffle, dancing, and an art slideshow. Come and be part of the excitement. Share a good time with artists and other art supporters from throughout the area. We'll provide the beads and masks too! Don't know what Mardi Gras and Carnival is all about? No problem, it's basically a huge world wide secular celebration that happens every year. It really a big deal in New Orleans and most Latin American and many European countries. It's also called "Fat Tuesday" because technically its the last day to indulge before Lent sets in for Christians. But, everyone to celebrate the coming of spring!

FAQs
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
Open to everyone but the the bartender will request ID's from anyone ordering drinks.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Free street parking on area streets. There is also a free parktng lot across the street and adjcent to the Police Station. The Green Briar is also on the 57, 65, 86, 501, and 503 bus lines.
What can/can't I bring to the event?
Just wear festive colorful clothing and bring your dancing shoes. We'll provide the festive masks and beads, but you can bring your own too.

This is a fundraising event for Unbound Visual Arts and as such there are no refunds, even if this event is cancelled due for severe weather or other unforseen circumstances.
