HANDS ON BASIC ELECTRONICS (4 WEEKS)
WEARABLE ELECTRONICS (1 SESSION)
DESCRIPTION:
Come play with electronics at Artisan's Asylum! Whether you're a
newbie or an experienced hacker, there will be something for you at
Circuit Hacking Night. This one night the electronics & robotics lab
will be open for FREE -- there will be a free introductory soldering
lesson, electronics kits on hand for sale for those who wish to make
things, and experienced hackers and engineers around to answer all
your questions. Feel free to bring your own projects to work on if you
have them!
The proceeds of all sales and donations will go directly towards
funding maintenance and improvements in the Electronics & Robotics lab

INSTRUCTOR BIOGRAPHY:
Andrew Anselmo is a consulting engineer and a member of Artisan's
Asylum, one of the biggest maker spaces in the US, and has worked on
many different controls, instrumentation, and automation projects for
industry as well as many in the arts. He has worked with the Arduino
environment on many projects, and has built a few interesting devices
around various "flavors" of the Arduino platform to solve real world
problems. He still likes simple projects with transistors. Some of
his work and consulting philosophy can be seen
at www.clipboardengineering.com
[http://www.clipboardengineering.com].
Mike Beach is an Electrical Engineer with many years of experience
with the design and debug of electro-optical and high speed analog
systems. Some of this work can be seen at www.actinica.com
[http://www.actinica.com]. He has held classes in low-noise analog
design for IEEE, has co-taught a robotic design course based on a
hybrid Raspberry Pi/Arduino platform in addition to Hands On Basic
Electronics at the ASYLUM AND EJOYS BEING AN ACTIVE PARTICIPANT AND
MENTOR AT THE CIRCUIT HACKING NIGHT HELD AT THE ASYLUM EVERY
